If 4later cannot save a forwarded email, you get an email with the subject "Your email was not saved in 4later". It names the subject of the affected email and the reason. There are three reasons:
1. Your email imports for this month are used up. The email names the date from which emails are saved again. Until then further forwarded emails are not saved either. Forward them again after that date, or change your plan if you need more imports.
2. Email import is not part of your plan. It comes with Basic and Premium. This happens, for example, when your subscription has ended and an automatic forwarding rule is still running. Pick a plan, or turn off the forwarding in your email program.
3. Your storage is full. Free up space (delete entries or attachments, empty the bin) or change your plan. Once there is space again, forwarded emails are saved again. This can take up to a day.
You change your plan in the app: Settings → plan row.
Good to know
- The email goes to the address of your 4later account, that is the one you signed in with through Apple or Google. It does not go to the sender of the forwarded email.
- You get it at most once a month per reason. Further emails that are not saved in the same month for the same reason get no reply.
- It deliberately contains no link.
- The original email is still in your mailbox. You can forward it again later.
No such email, and the entry is still missing? Check that you forwarded to the right address (Settings → Import → Email) and that no attachment is larger than 50 MB. If that does not help, write to us through Settings → Support.
