"Add" only becomes active once everything an entry needs is there. These are the reasons, most frequent first:
1. There is no content yet. An entry needs at least a title, a note or an attachment. In the share sheet it can take a moment until a large attachment has loaded.
2. There is no topic to save into. The dialog then shows the orange notice "No topic to save into". Open the 4later app, tap "Edit" at the top of the topic overview and then "New Topic ...". Or tap the topic row in the share sheet and choose "Create new topic ...". Then try again. This can happen after an account was reset or right after the first sign-in, when the share sheet was faster than the app.
3. An attachment is too large. The share sheet accepts up to 300 MB per file, the app up to 1 GB. If you see "Attachment Size Exceeded", add the file in the app with the plus button.
4. Your storage is full. From 80 % on 4later shows a warning, at 100 % nothing more can be added. In the app a page then tells you that your storage is full. Everything you saved stays readable. Free up space (delete entries and empty the bin) or change your plan. You can see your usage in Settings on your account card.
5. You have been using 4later for six weeks and have not answered the question how you want to continue yet. Open the app: there you choose Basic, Premium or to continue for free. After that saving works again, also on the free plan.
Does the share sheet say "4later login failed"? Open the 4later app once and sign in. The share sheet cannot sign you in by itself.
