How do I save something from another app to 4later?

Anything you can share on iPhone, iPad or Mac can go into 4later: web pages from Safari, photos, PDFs from Mail, voice messages from WhatsApp, notes, YouTube videos, places from Maps.

  1. Open the content in the app where it lives.
  2. Tap Share (the square with the arrow pointing up).
  3. In the row of apps, tap the 4later icon (labeled "Save to 4later"). If it is missing, see "How do I move 4later to the front of the share sheet?".
  4. Optional: adjust the title, add a note, pick a topic or set a reminder.
  5. Tap Add. A card shows the progress, followed by a short "Saved".

You do not have to pick a topic. If the field says "File automatically", the entry lands in the "4later" topic and the AI files it into the matching topic. If it says "File later", the entry stays in the "4later" topic until you move it yourself.

Good to know

  • The share sheet accepts files up to 300 MB. Add larger files in the app with the plus button, where the limit is 1 GB per attachment.
  • You can share several photos or files at once. They become attachments of one entry.
  • You need to be signed in. Open 4later once after installing and sign in, then the share sheet works.
