Touch and hold the entry in the list and choose Copy to …. In an open entry you find the same in the More menu at the top right. The same topic picker as for moving opens: tap a topic, then Copy.
- Into another topic: the copy lands there, the original stays where it is.
- Duplicate: pick the topic the entry is already in. The copy appears right next to it.
What comes along: title, notes, the AI summary and all attachments in the same order. Every attachment is copied as a file of its own, so the original and the copy do not depend on each other.
What starts fresh: done, flag, reminder, calendar event and read state. The copy is a new entry made by you.
In shared topics: owners, editors and contributors may copy, in the source topic and in the target topic. Someone who may only read (viewer) does not see Copy to …. The copy counts toward the storage of whoever owns the target topic.
Copied by mistake? Tap Undo right away or shake the device: the copy is deleted again.
Copying needs an internet connection. Without one, 4later says so right in the window and copies nothing.
