What do the AI hints on an entry mean?

These hints come from the AI and show what happened to an entry. The open hints are purple, like everything the AI does in the app.

Not yet sorted: The entry sits in the "4later" topic and the AI has not found a clearly matching topic yet. A tap opens Where should this go?: the suggested topic (if there is one), possibly a new topic the AI proposes, Create new topic ... or Other topics .... The Assignment filter collects all such entries.

Filed automatically: The pill shows a sparkle and the name of the topic the AI moved the entry into from "4later". A tap shows the reason. Confirm with Keep in "topic", or choose Back to 4later or another topic. Confirmed entries are not re-filed; without a decision the pill disappears by itself after a week.

Question mark on the topic: The entry sits in a topic but, according to the AI, fits somewhere else better. The pill shows the topic's name with a question mark. A tap opens Where should this go? with the short reason and the suggested target. Tap the current topic (Already in the right topic) to leave it there, and the AI does not ask again.

The AI only files new entries out of "4later". Whatever you put into a topic yourself or confirmed there stays there. When you create a new topic, it checks once whether unsorted entries from "4later" fit into it.

Where the AI may move entries is set in Settings under Automatic assignment: Into my private topics (on from the start) and Into topics I share (off from the start). You always see suggestions; entries are moved only into topics you allow there. With Create topics automatically the AI may create a new private topic when none fits. Only the topic's owner sees the hints; members of a shared topic do not.
