Your subscription runs through Apple. 4later itself cannot change, cancel or refund it.
In the app: Settings → plan row (for example "Basic (Monthly)") → on the page "Your Basic Plan" or "Your Premium Plan" tap Edit Plan …. This opens Apple's subscription management for 4later. If your plan comes through Family Sharing, there is no such button; the person who bought it manages it.
Directly at Apple: iOS Settings → your name at the top → Subscriptions → 4later.
There you can:
- switch between monthly and yearly,
- switch between Basic and Premium,
- cancel.
After cancelling your plan runs until the end of the paid period. In the app your plan card then carries the red badge "Canceled" and the button reads "Renew Plan", in case you change your mind.
After it expires you get a grace period of 7 days with all the limits of your previous plan. An orange banner reminds you ("Renew …"). After that 4later keeps running on the free plan. Nothing is deleted, and you lose nothing you already have: your entries stay, and shared topics keep all their members. Only something new that exceeds the limits of the free plan (more storage, more AI chats, email import) needs a plan again.
Refunds: These also go through Apple, at reportaproblem.apple.com. Apple decides by its rules, not us. If a purchase is refunded, the plan in 4later ends.
